EASY KETO BAGELS

The hardest part about the Keto diet is cutting out carbs. We love finding ways to replicate our favorite foods! Try out this bagel recipe for a quick breakfast or snack!

Ingredients:


1. 1 1/2 cups of blanched almond four.

2. 1 tablespoon of baking powder.

3. 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.

4. 2 ounces of full fat cream cheese.

5. 2 large eggs.


Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Combine 1 and 1/2 cups of blanched almond flour with 1 tablespoon of baking powder an set a side

3. Combine 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2 ounces of cubed cream cheese and microwave for 2 minutes, stirring half way through

4. After removing the cheese mixture from the microwave and stirring thoroughly, add two eggs, and almond flour mixture. Begin kneading the dough immediately (before the cheese cools)

5. Split the dough into 6 equal parts, form into balls and puncture a whole in the middle

6. Place dough onto parchment lined baking sheet and season as desired (sesame seeds, everything but the bagel, etc.)

7. Bake for 14 minutes, let cool

5. Cut, toast, and top as desired!

Quick tips:


1. To make the bagels easier to form in your hands, you can chill the dough for thirty minutes and/or coat your hands in olive oil.
